1. PLACES / *CAW CAW INTERPRETIVE CENTER, UPLANDS FOREST LOOP
The Uplands Forrest loop connects to all of the outer trails and features educational historical placards. This is a nice short loop very near the visitor center, taking you through mixed oak forest with a section that over looks  former rice fields. This trail would be ideal to connect to one of the other trails or for the family looking for a short hike, possibly adding in a visit to the interpretive center and or a picnic lunch at one of the available shelters or tables.
