OutšŸŒ±Grown’s Core Programs

Through community-led programs, we utilize an intergenerational approach starting at birth to ensure that families have the support they need to incorporate nature into their daily lives.

TURN THE BLUES GREEN
Turn the Blues Green is our pioneering maternal mental health program. Our tool, our solution, is to help new parents combat the Baby Blues, reduce the feeling of isolation many new moms face, and nurture relationships with the natural world from the beginning.

BRING IT OUTSIDE
The Bring it Outside (BiO) program meets families where they are and supports them in getting outside in the best ways for their families. BiO develops multi-lingual tools, resources, and activities and annually hosts workshops and events for families.

HIKE IT BABY

Our Hike it Baby Community Events are the roots of OutGrown and are not just for hiking or babies. We broadly use the term 'hike’ and offer various outings, from playground meetups to trail hikes to urban strolls. Our Outside Guides are trained to support all families in a welcoming, inclusive experience in the outdoors while building community.

WANDER WALKS
Wander Walks uses activity-based signage to support early childhood development, encourage nature-based play, and introduce concepts of conservation and stewardship.

GEAR LIBRARIES
Finding the right gear can be complicated and expensive for families, especially when children are small and change sizes frequently. We work with our partners to establish gear libraries that allow families to borrow and try things to find what works best for their needs before committing to a purchase.
