1. PLACES / MOMENTS IN TIME INTERPRETIVE TRAIL
This self-guided interpretive trail leads through forest, a small meadow, and lake shore along Lake Crescent. You will find various informational signs along the 0.7 mile loop that discuss the history and ecology of the Lake Crescent area. There are numerous stumps and logs for kids to climb, and the trail is flat enough to be accessible with a jogging/all-terrain stroller. You can access the loop by following the trail that leads from the ranger station parking lot 0.3 miles along the shore of Lake Crescent.

Beach, Camping Nearby, Lake, Picnic Area, Shaded Hike, and Visitor Center The Lake Crescent Lodge is to the West of this trail and offers a gift shop, restaraunt, coffee/hot chocolate, and lodging. Kayaks and row-boats can be rented during the summer.

Parking Details

There is no fee to enter this portion of Olympic National Park. The parking lot is large, and the trail leads east from the parking lot.
